Innosep was honored to participate in Thai Water Expo 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), where our Director, Mr. Kazi, was invited by the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) to speak in the session "Innovation in Water & Wastewater Treatment for a Circular Water Economy."
Drawing on more than two decades of industry experience, Kazi shared Innosep's perspective on the evolution of water sustainability—from providing clean water, to enabling water reuse, to recovering value from wastewater, and ultimately making circularity more affordable through innovations such as membrane regeneration.
The presentation emphasized that a truly circular water economy extends beyond recycling water. It also requires reducing the cost of sustainable technologies so that more industries can adopt water reuse solutions. Membrane regeneration is one example of how engineering innovation can transform waste into valuable resources while lowering the cost of water recycling projects.
A key message of the presentation was:
"Sustainability should not be a privilege for a minority. A truly circular ecosystem can only thrive when sustainable solutions are affordable and accessible to the majority."
The journey toward a circular water economy will take time and collaboration across industry, academia, and technology providers. Innosep is proud to contribute to this journey by developing practical membrane-based solutions that help industries conserve water, recover resources, and build a more sustainable future.
We sincerely thank AIT and the organizers of Thai Water Expo 2026 for the opportunity to share our experiences and engage with fellow professionals who are committed to advancing sustainable water management.
