What was once considered waste is now evolving into a new industrial business model.
During Mr. Kazi’s visit to Japan this week, Innosep met with its long-term Japanese partners to further strengthen the growing ecosystem around RO membrane regeneration — including the collection, cleaning, recovery, and redeployment of used RO membranes from the semiconductor industry.
This is no longer simply a research topic or sustainability discussion. A real operational model has already been established, connecting membrane users, recovery partners, regeneration technology, and industrial reuse applications across borders.
As industries continue searching for practical circular solutions, RO membrane regeneration is beginning to attract wider attention not only in Japan, but internationally.
It is encouraging to also see the topic highlighted by The Mechanical Social Systems Foundation in their recent publication:

We are proud to be part of a collaboration that transforms industrial waste into renewed value and creates a more sustainable future for membrane technology.
