Service work to one of Membrane applications in Precision Fermentation process

About 2 years ago, Innosep completed this project with this client. It is a project that uses membranes to separate proteins from fermentation process. Even though membrane application in precision fermentation is now regarded as the leading method for producing high-volume compounds, it was an audacious proposal when Innosep tried out 5 years ago. After many lab tests and pilot tests, it took almost 3 years to develop this system. After about 2 years in operation, the system is still performing as to its designed parameters. Membranes are designed to handle large loads in fermentation process to ensure efficiency in downstream processes. Scheduled maintenance to membranes is a key to the ultimate performance of the system. From August 10 to 11, two (2) days of on-site service work, seven (7) technicians cleaned and changed over sixty (60) cartridges in total. It is such a critical work to maximize gains of efforts put in this project. Innosep is grateful that it partners with the market leader in this fast-growing precision fermentation market.
