Following the success of our lab tests at Innosep, we are moving forward to the next critical step in our cooling tower water recovery project: a field test at our client's job site. This hits an exciting key stage in Innosep's standard project procedure as we transition from laboratory validation to real-world application.
The field test, which began last week, involved the installation of a mock-up water recovery system at the client's facility. This system, specifically designed for the project, will operate continuously for five days. During this period, Innosep's technicians will remain on-site, collecting and monitoring data to ensure the system's performance aligns with lab results.
The purpose of this field test is twofold:
Validation of Lab Test Results: While the lab environment allowed us to fine-tune the water recovery system, field testing in a larger, operational setting will confirm whether our results can be replicated at scale. The system will handle significantly higher volumes of water, pushing the capacity of the membranes and the overall system.
Membrane Stress Testing: With an increased flux and operational demands, the field test will stretch the membranes to their limits. This will help determine their long-term durability and performance in harsher, more demanding conditions.
Innosep’s rigorous approach to testing reflects our commitment to quality and innovation. Field tests like this one are a crucial component of our project development process, ensuring that each solution we deliver is both reliable and optimized for the unique challenges of each client.
