Laundry Wastewater COD & TDS Reduction by using Membrane Filtration

May 15, 2023 A test of using membrane to reduce COD & TDS level in laundry wastewater was conducted in Innosep’s Lab last Friday.  Unlike conventional means of separation and microbial action, membranes designed to work under particular conditions have been tested to perform very well in TDS & COD reduction. Aside from the compliance reason, the fact that concentrate detergent could be served as a value-added by-product of the process gives the membrane filtration process a big point.
